Neon polishes can sometimes be a bit of a git to apply, they take no prisoners when it comes to showing blemishes and streaks, so I went into the task of swatching with a stern ‘don’t mess with me’ face on! I’m very happy to report that these polishes went on like butter! I used three coats of Pineapple Punch but two would probably have done in hindsight. BRIGHT!! It is actually listed by I Scream Nails as red, but I myself am more comfortable with describing it as pinky orange! And the silver holographic glitter polish is Disco Candy. So without further ado I should introduce you to the polishes! As you can see from the photo above the colours are Neon with a capital N!!! The yellow is Pineapple Punch and it is BRIGHT! The pinky orange is Gummy Bear and is …. I Scream Nails – Pineapple Punch, Gummy Bear & Disco Candy shown with top coat The brushes are easy to use and to hold, I was interested in this because it’s not usual to have a tapered handle on a brush and even the smallest changes to the status quo can throw me off with my painting game and all of a sudden I’ve got flooded cuticles and a major clean-up job! This was not the case with these though and the slightly stiff brush allowed for some good precise painting. For me there is a downside though – they’re only 10ml which is on the smaller side for an indie brand, and I can see me using these up within a couple of months once summer hits! I Scream Nails – Gummy Bear, Disco Candy & Pineapple Punch The polishes are also 5-free (free from five products that people consider may be ‘nasties’ – Toluene, DBP, Camphor, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde Resin) so this is another tick in the ‘YES’ box for me! The ice cream bottles need no introduction, once you’ve seen them you’ll not forget them! They are cute and unique! They are being sold on Rainbow Connection here for £9.20 each and there is a large range of colours being stocked (although they do sell out fast so it is always worth following the Rainbow Connection Facebook or Instagram page to keep up with restock information if the colour you are pining for isn’t there!). I’m happy to find that none of the components they use are tested on animals and that everything they produce is vegan friendly.

I Scream Nails – Pineapple Punch, Disco Candy & Gummy BearĪs this is my first experience of I Scream Nails polishes I had to do a little research about the company for this review. This review is therefore on behalf of Rainbow Connection but all views, photos, nail art and thoughts are my own.
